					<description><![CDATA[One person that comes to mind is Major Cifford Patterson. While I never knew him, I knew his mother and worked   with her close to 25 years.
I remember how proud she was of her son&#039;s accomplishments.  His wife was also an Army officer and had a difficult time accepting her husband&#039;s death.  At the time of 9/11, Major Patterson was assigned to the Pentagon.]]></description>
